Summer Season Auditions

Opera New Jersey produces 3 operas in the intimate McCarter Berlind Theatre in Princeton, offering up to 13 opera performances in the month of July. Dependant on participation level singers may also be involved in staged Opera Scenes Concerts, Musical Theatre Concerts, opera ensembles, masterclasses and musical coaching.

Guest Artists

Opera New Jersey is proud to feature Guest Artists who fill some leading roles in our season. Frequently Guest Artists have previously sung leading roles at national and regional opera houses.

Festival Artists

Opera New Jersey presents the highest level emerging professional singers in leading and supporting roles in our summer operas. Singers have often sung leading and supporting roles elsewhere.

Studio Artists

Opera New Jersey’s apprentice level is where emerging talent perform leading, secondary, comprimario and cover roles. Participation includes opera ensembles, masterclass opportunity, staged Opera Scenes Concerts and Musical Theater Concerts.
