Emerging Artist Program

Opera New Jersey’s Victoria J. Mastrobuono Emerging Artist Program, is a group of artists who are bridging the gap between school and a professional career. OperaNJ features young artist members from September through May in a multitude of venues throughout the region.

The Emerging Artist Program members are paid an honorarium for each concert; fees vary per event. program singers must live regionally and have easy access to OperaNJ performance locations.

In addition, Opera New Jersey produces 3 main stage operas at McCarter Theatre in Princeton during June and July . Dependant on participation level, singers may also be involved in staged Opera Scenes, Musical Theatre Concerts, masterclasses, choral concerts, and musical coaching.

Audition applications for the 2013 Summer Victoria J. Mastrobuono Emerging Artist Program will be available in September 2012.
