Opera New Jersey is building a reputation of providing high quality opera in New Jersey as well as upholding the idea that opera is for everyone – we are your opera company. Our mission is to produce high quality opera performances and sustainable education programs to promote opera and build a sustained audience while also supporting emerging opera artists. This commitment, however, is merely a reflection of the dedication and support of you, our donors. Because ticket sales in opera companies generally cover less than 25% of total operating costs, we rely partially on corporate and foundational grants – but most of all from the support of individual opera lovers themselves.

The tremendous growth and excitment surrounding Opera New Jersey would be impossible without the generosity of our individual donors. There are many ways you can play a vital role in the future of opera.

Your gift can be directed toward your area of interest including: general operating fund, youth education, emerging artist training, opera productions, gala sponsorship and more. All donors are recognized in our programs as part of our Circle of Friends at Opera New Jersey.

Matching Gift Program

Hundreds of companies across the country match donations made by their employees to non-profit organizations, enabling their employees, retirees, and/or their spouse or widow(er) to multiply their support by doubling, or in some cases tripling employee gifts.
