As part of Opera New Jersey's continued efforts to grow the awareness and love of opera throughought the State, we offer many varied extra concerts and masterclasses thoughout the year in multiple formats and venues.

Masterclasses

Master Teachers work with the singers in the Victoria J. Mastrobuono Emerging Artists program. Classes take place in the Woolworth Music of the Princeton University Campus (unless otherwise noted). Free and open to the public.

June 8 - 2-5 p.m. - Masterclass: Katherine Ciesinski, Leading American mezzo-soprano and teacher

June 9 - 2-5 p.m. - Masterclass: John Beeson

June 10 - 2-5 p.m. - Masterclass: Heidi Skok
Mezzo-soprano and master teacher

June 11 - 2-5 p.m. - Masterclass: Victor DeRenzi

June 15 - 2-5 p.m. - Masterclass: Greg Trupiano
Artistic Administrator, Sarasota Opera and Artistic Director, The Walt Whitman Project

June 17 - 2-5 p.m. - Masterclass: Laurent Philippe
Conductor and Vocal Coach

June 18 - 2-5 p.m. - Masterclass: Michael Paul
Tenor and Voice Teacher

June 19 - 2-5 p.m. - Masterclass: Willie Anthony Waters
Conductor, Former Artistic Director Connecticut Grand Opera, Florida Grand Opera

Auditions

Auditions for the 2012 Emerging Artists Program will be available in September 2012.
