The Merry Widow, tells the delightful story of Hanna Glawari, an outrageously rich and clever widow, who is on the hunt for a new husband. The problem? When she remarries, her tiny country will be left bankrupt. So what’s a girl to do? Why, simply convince a certain gentleman that marrying her will bring him love AND save their country’s finances!

Lavish parties, lovers’ crazy trysts, care-free antics and political plots make this light-hearted operetta an event not to be missed.

The Merry Widow features full orchestra, sets, costumes and chorus and will be presented in English with surtitles projected above the stage of the intimate Berlind Theatre.
