McCarter Theatre: Seating Charts

Within the McCarter Theatre Center there are two different theaters: the Berlind Theatre and the Matthews Theatre. Opera New Jersey performs in both of these theatres at different times of the year.

Matthews Theatre

Opera New Jersey performs in the beautiful 1100-seat Matthews Theatre in the winter for our February opera. We first performed here in March 2007.

Berlind Theatre

The Berlind Theatre has been home to Opera New Jersey’s Summer Season since 2005. At only 330 seats in a stadium-seating format, this venue provides a world-class intimate opera experience unparalleled in the region!
