The historic State Theatre is a magnificently renovated 1921 vaudeville and silent film palace that is today a premier center for the performing arts. Opera New Jersey performs at State Theatre in New Brunswick for its Winter Opera.

The main floor is accessible to patrons using wheelchairs, large print programs are available for most performances and infra-red listening devices are available for patrons who are hard of hearing.
